What are your main roles / responsibilities?
I coordinate all contract staffing needs for our client sites. I work with vendors, recruiters, and recruitment coordinators to fulfill their talent needs.
Tell us a little about your background?
I have a dual master’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management. In my staffing career, I have recruited for positions ranging from design and industrial engineers, to general labor and administrative positions, as well as marketing management, and executive level positions.
What’s your favorite part about being part of the Placers team?
I love our culture. I love that our leadership values our input and trusts that we will do the “right things right”. I find it empowering that there are no silos, we are all encouraged to be a leader, whether it is for morning huddle, or taking on new responsibilities in new positions. We all do not always agree, but we do always come to an agreement we can all be happy to move forward with.
What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical Tuesday is way different than a standard run of the mill Thursday. That is what I enjoy about my job. One day it is time sheets and payroll, the next is coordination of 10 onsite interviews, or holding orientation for 16 new associates. Never a dull moment!
What was your dream job when you were a kid?
I wanted to be an architect. I loved houses, and buildings. I went to school and loved the engineering and design portions of it all. I hated that you sat in front of a computer for 9 hours a day and had very little contact with people. I love people (for the most part…)!
