Delaware staffing agency Placers has earned a spot on the Inc 5000 list of fastest growing companies. The Newark-based temporary staffing company secured the #758th spot based on their 3-year growth of 526%!
Placers is not new to the Inc 5000 list, earning a spot on this exclusive list twice before in 1986 (#482) and 1987 (#404). CBI Group, a sister company within the Outside-In® Companies has also ranked on the list before in 2007, 2008 and 2013. This is however, the first time for “Placers 2.0” — a common colloquialism heard among Outside-In® the team.
The original Placers, which was founded in the early 70’s by Alan Burkhard was sold in 1999 after leading the staffing industry for 26 years and becoming one of Delaware’s largest employers. Burkhard’s son, Chris reintroduced the brand to the Delaware market in 2011 when clients of his then 10-year old recruitment solutions company CBI Group were asking for temporary staffing services.
