Leading Delaware staffing and recruiting agency launches Outside Insights podcast
Newark, Delaware – For the past two years, Placers President and Founder Chris Burkhard has shared his thoughts from more than 20 years in the staffing industry to help people do the work necessary to achieve the life they’ve been dreaming of. Using his platform Outside Insights, Chris has written and shared stories from his personal and professional experiences to illustrate key lessons in entrepreneurship and in life.
In late November 2020, responding to feedback from readers, Chris launched the Outside Insights podcast to continue sharing these stories on a new platform.
His first guest on the podcast’s inaugural episode was his father, Alan Burkhard. Alan, a serial entrepreneur who founded Placers, built and sold many businesses over his long career and credits his success to his interwoven personal and business life. Chris and Alan discuss how Alan built his core philosophies, how you can apply them to your everyday life, and how to become the person you want to be.
On the podcast’s second episode, Lessons in Leadership, Chris is joined by his friend Ralph Cetrulo, Partner of Stephano Slack, an accounting and consulting firm. Chris and Ralph, who started in business together and supported each other’s companies along the way, discuss why going against the grain is necessary for finding your own path. They also offer an introduction on mergers and acquisitions, how to go into business with your financing partner and maximize the benefits, and what success really means in 2020.
