Placers “1.0”, was founded in the early 70’s by Alan Burkhard. Placers was sold in 1999 after leading the staffing industry for 26 years and becoming one of Delaware’s largest employers. Burkhard’s son, Chris reintroduced the brand to the Delaware market in 2011 (Placers 2.0) when clients of his now 17-year old recruitment solutions company CBI Group were asking for temporary staffing services.
